Court Advocacy Program

Trained advocates are readily available to provide victims of domestic violence with crucial information on available options and ongoing support during court proceedings. In addition, comprehensive case management services are offered to ensure follow-up care and support.

Our court advocates assist victims/survivors in navigating judicial and law enforcement systems, providing a variety of services including but not limited to:

  • Information, referral, and safety planning
  • Assistance during arraignment and trial
  • Education on court procedures and follow-up services
  • Advocacy with judicial and law enforcement systems
  • Education and assistance on victim compensation
  • Assistance in obtaining protective orders both civil and criminal
